POLICIES Last updated 1/06/2003 Terms of Sales and tooling: Tooling 50% with order, balance upon sample approval. Credit terms 1% Net 30 days subject to credit approval and past history. Tooling is property of customer and will be maintained at no cost to customer. It can be shipped to customer (at his expense) but we make no guaranty that it will work on his equipment. We are not in the business of selling tooling, only parts. We sell to the customer FOB port of entry. S & Z Imports will be responsible for all customs costs and transfer fees. Customer will advise us of trucker to be used and final destination and we will arrange shipment of parts to the customer's dock on a collect basis. Customers: We are in business to sell our customers quality parts on time at a reduced cost. This will enable our customers to better compete in a world market. We add value to our customers by simplifying the process of importation. By handling all of the details of importing parts we allow our customers to maximize their effectiveness. Quality: We will not build tooling without a customer approved drawing. Orders cannot go into production until samples are approved by customer. Orders will not ship until independent Quality Control Company examines parts and signs off. The only exception to this policy will be if marked up drawing showing exceptions are sent to customer and they buy off on specific exception in writing. Design: We are not engineering or design company. We will be happy to tell customers if their parts can be manufactured as drawn but cannot offer an opinion as to whether parts will work for the purpose intended. This will be the customers' responsibility but we will fabricate as many samples as necessary in order for customers to fully test out their design. Normally samples will be available at no charge to customer. The only exception would be if customer required an unusually large number of samples. In that case there would be a nominal charge. S & Z Imports Inc. makes no warranties to Representatives or to Customers with respect to the products or any services and disclaims all implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, noninfringement and fitness for a particular use. U S Customs: Customers must understand that we are importing all parts for them. All outer cartoning (boxes or crates will be marked made in Taiwan (or China if applicable). If parts are wrapped in plastic bags they should be so marked as well. Otherwise parts must be individually marked made in Taiwan. We should have a letter from all customers stating that they understand that all orders will be made overseas for them. This will help prevent delays in moving parts through customs.
