Forging Success Story

We recently received orders for two machined forgings.

Tooling is being fabricated and we expected samples to be available within the week.

In order for the customers to know there really is a Stu behind S & Z Imports, I recently visited the customer and had the opportunity to tour his plant. During the tour I observed how our parts were being used. As it turns out they are part of a large assembly made of 13 components including hardware.

The customer was kind enough to give me some samples of the assembly. I than in turn sent them to Taiwan for two reasons.

I wanted the factories making these parts to understand the application.
I wanted to have the opportunity to give the customer a ballpark price on the entire assembly.

Taiwan sent me a ballpark price and than in turn I quoted it to the customer.

To make a long story short, after we successfully ship the first order to the customer, we can expect a trial order for the entire assembly.

The motto of our story: THE MORE WE SUBSTITUTE TAIWANESE AND CHINESE LABOR FOR U S LABOR, THE LARGER OUR ORDERS AND THE MORE MONEY WE MAKE.

To make the story even happier, the customer ships all over the world and we have helped our customer better compete in the world marketplace.
